while i was doing email sun both paul in nl and david in uk were online so we chatted.
david was going to spend a long weekend in paris.
after i went offline i went home and called paul.
while i was in sf he met a fb named cees. he was hoping to date him but cees declined.
then i did errands and checked out ws and abc. i was amused that abc had american titles that had not been out yet in sf. a shame as i'd have gotton one for myself and i might have gotton another for eric.
i bopped by the apt then did the zeedijk party. it was an INSANE zoo. dangerously crowded. i ran into bas and sander and we chatted but it was so insane that they soon left as did i not long afterwards.

if the author is smart they'll have the next book return more to it's original tone and maybe keep it set on earth or at least sol system.

thurs was the 1st day in AGES i did nothing.
mike woke us up in the morning calling from london. work had gotton VERY tedious. it´s the nl summer thing of the dutch all leave for vacation and the expats/immigrants left behind have to do all the work.
he was doing american standard hours of 60hrs a week so he decided to just fuck it and take time off.
of course the night before he got back to london the waterpipes upstairs of the uk apt burst so he walks in to find his godson trying to deal with a flooded apt. the godson is only 21 or 22. he´s staying at the apt awhile. he had been out and came home to find the place trashed. it seems as he opened the door the curtains fell. you get the idea.

we watched a bit of jos brink´s funeral service. he´s a nl stage and tv legend who just died of cancer.
